finished a 3-hr jog and wanted to catch an mrt from punggol station. BUT - could not find a way to go from the punggol waterway bank to the road surface 15ft higher. he was under the bridge that span waterway at the event point. looked like the place above the water way was under housing development, so it was totoally enclosed. instead of looking for the exit somewhere else(could be quite a long way away), he saw a couple climbing the slope next to the bridge and he followed them. at the end of the climm the reached bridge level but was separeated from the pathway by a 2+m fence. the gal, tough petite, somehow, climbed over it, and the man though more than 1.7+m, had difficulty. he finally did it. when it's his turn, he found he legs too short to reach over the fence. also his feet with shoes, too big to step into the gap of the fence to raise his stepping height. so he took out his shoes, but with additional of a few inches of height, he still could not reach over the fence. sso he called out the srilangka worker who was at the other sideof the fence to help. he gave his helping hand, he pulled himself over the fence with his hand. but in doing so, he grond one of his balls against the fence, and that HURT!

went out at 4+pm, took an 410w, then circle line, stopped at tai seng. start jogging at 5.13pm along upper paya lebar road. went into paya lebar cersent, a small cudetac housing estate with big houses and a temple and a small public open space. came out to and jog along lorong ah soo. passed by couple of cudetac housing estates along the way. and went into a park, where there's some facilities like basketball, futzall, courts where people doing their evening rounds of play. realised this place belong to aljunied constituency, which is under WP. came out to hougang ave1. then cut it defu ave 10, which is an indstrial estate. came out to ave3 and crossed over the tranffic to serangoon river park. jogged all the way to punggol promenade and punggol waterway.

noise-free holland plane

new year, old life. go running on new year day. drop off in holland village, then go into gim moh, into pandan landed-property, condo belt. bumped into yuanfu temple, a temple that he bumped into a couple of times in his previous jogs, quite sometime ago. come out to holland road, into old holland road, into ewart park which is a high-class bungalow housing area, which he looks not familiar tohim, though he is sure to have came to this place in his previous jogs. then he veers into greenleaf housing estate. trying to look for the italian restaurant he visited before, but could not find. then go into holland plain, the vast field still not YET developed. like before, beside it, there's the temple, people come here to pray. beside the temple, already there's a strata landed housing under development. turn into garlick ave and out into sixth ave.....

yearning for a cold-cold mug of beer.
