KT - china town

the china towm in KT s a one-street affair, they were there in the evening, after 6, wanting to look a place for dinner. but all shops seemed closed, early. and no restaurants in the street... then they found one almost at teh end of the street, but full of diners. so they ordered steam fish, gohiang and fried bitter gourd.

after dinner they realised there were a few more restaurants around the end of the street.

kuantan - na mera

after 7 hours, arrived in kuantan.

walked along kuantan river. no cruise for today.

looking for a place for dinner, finally had bakuteh dinner at a kopitiam, a street away from the river. two person cost them rm20+. no particularly good.

went to tenturm plaza, and pacific plaza.

next morning, shot at the kuantan river, then breakfast at a kopitiam, yong taufu, and fish porrige.

walked the kuantan bridge.

a czech name jiri - make it happen

jiri stayed in singapore for 30 years.

he loves singapore for its garden-like beauty. he's a widower. and he likes to talk to people.

"hey, you know i admire your gahmen doing a good job in making this place really a garden city."

"yes, singapore is well kept. europe also got a lot of places much more beautiful than places in singpore."

"yes, but can you imagine, singapore just a red dot, you can walk into a park, a river, a pcn, a reservor, a garden.... within 10 minutes.... europe, you have to take a plane."

"why a plane? they have a lot of parks and gardens in the cities also."
