he made online deals with sms.
he wanted to replace his 18-55mm kit lens for quite sometime now. and found one in the buy-sell page yesterday. and fixed a deal with the seller(A) to meet at 6pm in woodlands mrt, the today.
then this morning also saw someone selling a 50mm f1.2 lens at $250. sms the seller(B) to get it at $230. and asked her to meet at woodland mrt also.
#1 ---- but she replied, "u can come down to amk? i hv to brg my son...".
#2 ---- he replied, "ok, amk library at 6.20pm."
#3 ---- then came the sms, "see you at 6pm."
#4 ---- he replied, "6.20pm." since he was going to meet the A at 6pm in woodlands mrt.
#5 ---- he received a reply, "ok."
so everything looked set, he's going to meet A at 6pm in woodlands mrt and then B at amk, 6.20pm.
so he arrived at woodlands mrt at 6pm. but nobody there to meet him. he called the A up, "where are you?" he said, "i'm in amk now." then after checking the sms numebrs he received he realized that sms #3 was from A, and he replied A to tell him to meet at 6.20pm, instead of originally thinking that it was from B and he replied B to meet at amk at 6.20pm. and he also thot that sms #2 that he replied was for A(but it was actually for B), that he wld meet A at amk. so he went down to amk. but he encountered a traffic jam in SLE, afraid that he's going to be late, he called A to ask him where he was. A replied, "i'm in Yee Soon."
he was surprised, " what at yee soon? i thot you're waiting for me at amk?"
"no.... i am going to meer you at woodlands mrt at 6.20pm."
"in that case, we have postpone the deal to tomorrow." he said, thinking that it would be too troublesome to make it back to woodlands with the jam in SLE.
"what? no... let;s cancel the deal."
well it was a big mis-communication..... after realizing the confusion caused by the criss-crossing of the sms of A and B which he thot all the while he was communicating with B!
and he called B, "where are you?" thinking B would be at amk waiting.
"i'm at home. you didn't confirm the deal."
