ubi ave 2 - the familiar place he used to work in has become so unfamiliar with many foreign workers scattering around the empty grass patches. just like another little india, another golden mile.

he doesn't have much apprehension towards the foreign workers, but seeing the number increasing by leaps and bounds, he got a bit eery, lest that one day, all empty space will be stuffed with faces and bodies, leaving no room for breath.....

dopamine - pump it up to calm it down

dopamine is the neurotransmitter that get secreted when you are excited. the problem is once the juice flushes the system, it's hard to deflush it. it take hours after the secretion, before the effect of it subsides. meantime, you are in this hyper mode, your sleep is ruined, your thots are incoherent, your mouth is dry, your hearts pumps like a 6 cylinder engine......

serotonin - the happy hormone, is not happy it's swamped out by the dopi. it's futile to resist the flush - the way out, instead of trying to stop the flush, pump more dopi into the system, overflush it dopi.... until the system's endurance capacity for this stuff runs up to break-point, and when you think all hell breaks lose, suddenly calmness prevails, miraculously the stop switch is triggered, and you can have your well deserved rest. what if it did not stop?

rsaf open house - whatever journey

thot of taking an mrt to the show. had to change so many times of transport before finally arriving at the paya lebar airbase. the airshow was at 4.30pm. too many people. did not get a gallery seat. standing among the crowd, good to shoot some crowd pictures. not many pictures of the flying machines.

came out the wrong way. took 3 hours to reach home. did a good service to the feet, and had a nice ride thru different places of singapore.

the beauty is when you are alone, you enjoy whatever journey. not when you are with somebody.

elitists - now money chasers

lim wee kiak apology stroke a note in his memory. it reminded him of this mp called wee siew kim who had a daughter calledwee shu ming.

pap looks like is really infested with elitists and wealth-chasers.

mind you, the wee guy stayed on after the saga, and you can expect this lim guy will do the same.

so the salary review and reviews of other policies by the pap is just another wayang to get people cool down in the anti-pap mood while these elitists and money chasers think of other ways to wring the heck out of the peasants' remaining-barely-manage-to-breathe lives.

mcritchie reservoir - the coach

the canoeing coach said he took care of three school teams. he's a busy man. but he has time to play around with his dslr camera. he said, he's using canon. pentax, as is known the rest of the non-pentaxian, not a camera of his liking; not as many functions as the canon. and nikon has a very sensor, taking good nite picture.

does he know pentax has the same sensor as nikon(produced by sony) and that pentax latest model has almost all the knobs and wissles that other big-name cameras have?

normally, the couch knows very well HIS stuff, not the stuff that's NOT his.
