the mind is really like a machine. the nuts and bolts are the neurons.
when some screws get loose, the machine will act strange. like today....
he went acer to fix the laptop. he filled up the form, then showed the laptop to a service person behind the desk. he told him the problem. he fiddled a bit, then he said, "oh.... it's due to the expiry of the trial session of the mcafee. after it expired, it locked up the access to the internet."
"oh.... so it's not hardware problem? what to do to fix it?"
"not hardware problem. just de-install the mcafee...."
after he de-installation, the system worked again.
just like many illnesses caused by the immune system going wrong(auto-immune syndromes), the firewall-kind of application can go wrong also.
question - firewall issues can be dealt with a software fix, can an auto-immune syndrome be dealt similarly?
what's a software fix for a human illness?
