ocs openday - humility

safti ocs training is tough - the chemical warfare training chokes the cadets, while they are to sing the whole safti song after taking the tear gas....

jump from 5-m high diving board into the pool, with no pre-trials or any preparations.

and many more. but to be a cadet officer, is not peanuts.

the open-day opened up the eyes of the parents, relatives, friends of the cadet officers.

the 9-month training demands discipline - it's funny you see the cadets walking in marching steps outside their bunks, even when they are walking alone.

it demands physical fitness - to undergo all the tough exercises.

it demands mental strength - to focus on the goals and command the body and mind to go after them.

hence, the mindset must be right - what do you want in the ocs?

to be an officer cadet? or just for fun?

- in anyway, it humbles one self pulls back the ego of the trainees to ground level to build it up again to overcome the challenges ahead.

God bless.
