under the anderson bridge - the bride

before the big day
she is so happy
like all
who wouldn't want to look her best
in the best setting
with the best expert
that one can afford

and after that
it will be
the beginning of
the next series of events
many of which she would not care to recall

waiting - waiting

the duality beast
drooling
standing in sitting position
gazing into the 'stonehenge'
waiting.....

the red-shirt lady
wandering
sitting with hand holding the chin
fixating on the floor
waiting.....

after the rain - pearl garden

pamelo pearls ................................ the world thru a drop'f water

that same drop

perfect balance

emerald bulb

if you are rich enough to own all the gems in the world
that would not have you the luxury to covert over a single drop
of nature's ultimate jewel
emeralds, jades, jingles, crystals...
what a joy
to feast on that great harvest of
the pearl garden

kuku.... with one ball

hanging fruits

low hanging fruits

needle sweats

jade drops

oriental and occidental shining stars

resting under the thorns

see paradise

celestial lens

twinkle, twinkle little .....

now, you see it...

50mm, f1.4 - wide open

the lens arrived yesterday, it was in mint condition. tried a few shots, not seeing any famed depth of field effect; no mesmerising bokeh, just softness like any ordinary lens.

but tried more shots.... and here's what look more like it.

chiku-hydrant dialogue

the chiku tree says to the fire hydrant, "the day is darn hot, i am very thirsty, would mind to give me some of your water?"

the fire hydrant says to the chiku tree, "sorry, i provide water, only to quench a fire...."

"there's a fire in my belly, you'd better quench it now. else..."

"fire in the belly? you don't need water. if you are a chibai, you need a kuku. if you are a kuku, you need a chibai.... but for you, you need a kubai...."

ruby red - just goes by

tis morning.....
dewdrops usher in the full bloom

then, time slips by
things change
people age

...... tis evening
wither away that verve

you and me

looking at the lily flower
that ruby red
always lives in the memory of eternity...

quarter note - the photographer's philosophy

music is so everywhere, nature has it all.

looking at this picture, without the shadow cast on the leave, the rain drop would just be another rain drop, among the myriads of raindrops after the rain, this morning.

you see, for a photographer,a picture is about the shadows and the lights - the dark and the bright sides of things.... just like in life...

your dark side provides perspective.

and why quarter note? because full sounds like FOOL.
