tonite it's chapter 1, verse 1...... and life is so cyclical. for so many years, he has been doing this, nite in and nite out whenever he has the book with him, at home.
he does not strive to understand it all or remember it all. in fact he just go thru teh motion of reading it out loud, sometime silently.... but it's kind of a promise. he does not make many promises in life, this could be one of the less than handful of them.
you know..... if there's any meaning to life, it's the repeating of the samething again and again.... for those people who has attained fame in their own fields.... they have to do the same thing again and again, like beethoven, did it again and again in what he did the best - music.... newton, again and again in science, buffet, again and again in investing..... and what's the thing that you do that you think that qualifies you to be like them?
- on 6 oct 1997, he finished reading the book for the second time. he estimated, it takes him 4 yrs and 3 months to finish the book from beginning to end page, hence, he could have started reading it in the month of feb, 1989..... now now he has just finished reading the book 5 times.
