commonwealth ave sdp rally - no fear

he did not see dr chee around, signifying some drastic changes in sdp; from a party ridiculed for the antics of its leaders(only in the eyes of the sinagporeans) to a party that surprisingly has attracted some of the most brilliant people in singapore. and these people steered the course back to serious politics; the type of politics that singaporeans can accept, with politicians taking issues in a self-controlled manner..... you can shout, you can scream in a rally, but not on the street, or other public places.

vincent got the license to speak in the rally - he went thru the ugly side of the people putting opponents in jails without trials... a way of banishing their enemies lky learnt from the communists.

and tan jee say - an intelligent civil servant had a very good day to himself, by expounding the topics on fear - yes, fear was the theme of this rally. dr ang yong guan, analysed it and urged the people not to fear anything in this election, and wijeyasinga concluded the rally by urging the people to vote for the sdp.

the refrains that the audience brought home for thsi rally - "sack that bugger!" a phrase hammered home by a limping Sembawang GRC candidate Mohd Isa Abdul Aziz.

"rojak" was bad, says lim swee say but everybody else, including tan jee say, says it's delicious and good!

the feminine side of the party was exemplified by michelle lee's gentle touch on the topic of health care.

the rally ended with a birthday celebration for wijeyasinga.
