michael learns to sleep

rainy day, normally would discourage marathon man from jogging. but today, after the whole day lazing around trying hard to catch some rest, and shut-eyes, his system went into a severely out-of-balanced state. he had to jog it out, to shock it back to some life and hence hopefully, would be able to catch up on his sleep tonite. very likely he's going to have to rely on panadol to put him in good restful dreams. he took 3/4 of a piriton tablet, two days ago to calm his hyper-state of mind down, did catch abit of sleep, but far from good enough. michael jacskon begged for drugs to put him into a good sleep. and he had run out of options when he had the strongest drugs already given to him, and yet he had grown out of the effects of these sedatives. more and more would supposedly to be administered and SLUMPPPP..... he fell into deep sleep and has remained in that state, since 25 jun 2009.

when marathon man is in hyper mode, he's not in any mood to blog.

summer time is here, fruits of different kinds clog the markets, he drove up to oasis bay in muar with frens to eat rm25 durain buffet, and bot some back. he ate many times afterwards, he loved mangosteen, and could not help when he saw them in the market. lychee, is cheap this year, the chinese small-seeded, green-skin, "lormaichi" selling for less than $3/kg, the rambutan goes for free in durain plantations, the cherry, all the way from washington, cost less than 10bucks/kg..... mangoes, biggest every seen from taiwan, drago fruits, passion fruits, the ubiqutious bananas, papayas and water mellons, a big one would only cost $5, full of soggy and juicy red pulp, and very good as a summer cooling agent especially when chilled in the fridge. how not to get over-sugarised.... the white coffee added to the imbalance of the brain secretion... pushing marathon man to a state of highly restless, completely out of control for his mental power, if he thot that he could somehow lower his piqueness by some practical techniques like deep breathing, relaxing on a bed... or even get himself to a bus..... he was helpless, they did not work.

he dragged his shacked-up body along jln bingka, jln bengket, jln gaharu, jln keria and wajek walk.... the rain came heavier, beating down on his glasses, blurring his vision, water dripping down to his nose and mouth disrupting his breathing.... his hair was all wet. he wiped clean his glasses with his t-shirt. continued toward yarwood ave, wilmona ave and dunhem ave where big bungs abound.

he entered hua guan ave, sian tuan ave, then turned into binjai park and swiss club road, there were more of these big bungs, and where jet lee was rumored to have bot himself and his family a 20000sft good class. but the houses were not that impressive from the outside, simple squarish or greko-roman antiquated, out-of-place archietectural forms. alot of rich people could not care less what house they live in. they are too busy to put time into the building of a good house, just a piece of big land is all they care to have.

marathon man ate beef horfan in black bean source in hongkong chun kee, in a binjai park kopitiam. the stall lady was kind enough to allow his special request of adding in slices of ginger.

she asked, "why so wet?"

"oh i ran."

"what? iran? are you saying you came from iran?"

"no.....i reck..."

"what? iraq? you mean you come from iraq?"

"no i reckon, you may think that i am crazy to jog in this rain?"

"what? you jog under the rain?"

"yap. cool and refreshing, as a glass of ice barley."

"hmmm, you want order a glass?"

"why not.... but wait, no sugar."

"no... already mxied with sugar."

"then, thanks but no thanks."

"why, r you diabetic?"

"no, i just have too much of it for these few days.... i need to go on a sugar-free diet until i get back the control of my resting schedule...."

"tell you what. you want to sleep? simple."

"how?"

"you ran, you think that puts you into a better state of mind for you to sleep. that's so wrong. the more you run the more active you will be, and that state of alertness would only be cooled down after the next 8 hours, ie, beyond midnite tonite... and there goes your nite of good sleep. but never mind, follow what i say, you will be alright. you should just eat a lot of food.... until you are bloated. sure tonite you can sleep."

"why?"

"why? food needs digestion, and digestion needs energy. so when all your energy is channelled to the stomach, your brain will be given a chance to take a good break."

"ha..... give me another plate of horfan, now make it a dry one."
