rosli the cab driver lost hist way to tune hotel, the new hotel in town(1 year plus). he finally found his way by asking around. but met the traffic jam in downtown kota bharu.
he said, "it would easily take another half an hour to reach."
he did not reply.
"i worked in singapore before, in the construction industry, in the 70's - 80's. earning money in singapore was easier, but i could not stay there forever. now i have been a taxi driver for over 20 years.... life is real tough..... with 10 kids."
"10 kids? how many wives you have?"
"only one wife. how to afford more than one?"
"how old are you?"
"54."
"so young."
"i married early."
"how old?"
"18."
"why so early?"
"why not? we, kampung people don't have tv....."
