it was a morning like any others, except today he was at the 'curry puff swing' in the mac donald side of the bishan park - he has been trying to feature the 'curry puff swing' for as long as he started 'our bishan park series' and always have not found any angle to put the puff saliently in the picture - so far he's been looking at the puff from the park, the hub flats as the background didn't show up the puff ..... he needs something simpler, like the sky, the forest, as the background.

so last friday, he went up straight to the little mount that hold the puff... and lo and behold, he witness the majesty of the puff standing aloofly against the trees, and also in another angle against the sky... though these angles were hard to spot, and very tight.

then a guys turned up with a sony camera, not so eager to snap any shots, just kept searching around the bush... he went over and said hello to him,  "good morning."

"good morning. another hot day, looks like."

"taking pictures?"

"look, i have been looking at these flowers for days.... and still can't figure out where their roots are. i have not seen these flowers anywhere else ins singapore. they must be rare, and sad to say that the workers gonna cut clear them up soon, since they found cobra in this place. and wanted to end their roots and replant them in my garden."

"oh, i see." he spotted some weird flowers which he also had not seen before, "they are real beautiful, i have not seen them before also. hmmm thanks for pointing them out to me."

so he began to snap away at the flowers and the balls of thorned buds from diff angles. afterwards he was also curiuos to look see where the roots of these climbers originated. first he had to identify the tip of one plant, after that, he followed the creeping vine from the tip to the root, and it actually ran quite a distance before it finally planted itself into the crack the stack concrete flaps.

kenny(his name kenny got) told him this little mounted was formed by stacking up the flaps which were originally from the formal kalang river canal before the river was remade together with the park.

they chatted for a little while before he parted.

later he found out from the web the flower is:
