marriage - headache

for lovers already going steady for some time, marriage can still be a tough decision to make.

- enough time to make marriage life work? nowadays, both the spouses are working, and since both are young, and not much experience in their work, and junior in their ranks, they have to work harder, spend more time in the office, no time for anything else.

- enough money to hold the wedding, to buy a house, to have kids? nowadays, everything is super expansive, planning early to save money for the future is becoming a a very head-aching task - how to make enough money to save?

- even if money is not the problem, whether to have kids is a big decision. many couples, especially the gals, don't want kids. they fear 9- month pregnancy, the pain of giving birth and the responsibility of bring up a child.

these worries are not new, they have been there since grandmother's day, since day one. but people nowadays think of themselves more, instead of the duty of procreation - continue their genetic lineage. so problem like long hdb waiting time, no time for life after work, difficult to raise a child become their main excuses for not pulling in the curtains.

so how?

for people in the last generation, the couple would let mother nature take over - follow their call of duty. at certain stage, the gal would like to have baby, the man should go in and make one for themselves, while the heat is still on. and then once she's pregnant, marriage is a given. once that period passes by, the gal will not want to give in so easily.

gahmen's always trying to say that they would not want to give that benefit to the prospective couple to get marry and have children because they think money or time is not the issue. the issue is with the thots of modern couples. they are wrong. with the benefits, it will help not all, but some to clear away their so-called worries when their hormones run high for them to consider getting married. if it happens that they are at that ripe age, and these "obstacles" are on their way, the chance of them moving ahead is slim.

so all the push-pull factors must be amply there to solve this want-joy-don't-want-family trend.
