enbloc - per se

" I had a very frustrating time with this owner and to think I played out 3 visitors from the US who had a lunch appointment fixed for me 3 weeks in advance to meet this owner. This was one sacrifice where I pissed off 3 people not to mention myself and this owner puts up hurdle after hurdle for all my rational solutions and insists on using words like “side deal”. He really spoilt my day and maybe even my entire weekend. Honestly if I had known it would be like this I would have gone ahead and entertained my US visitors. This owner made me sick inside. Will tell you all more another day. Anyway Soh Hoon and Stella bought me a nice working class lunch and that made things a little better. Thanks ladies. "

enbloc is entering its last mile. just a couple of percentage short of the 80% need to go ahead to put the estate to the market.

the chairman o fthe enbloc sale committee was trying to get a unit owner to sign up to it but had some disappointing outcome.

just cool it, everybody is different, you have to deal with them as if you are dealing with yourself.

lunch - questions

lunch in soup restaurant in causeway point which was under massive renovation.

she was as talkative and he as amicable.... and the food was good. the salt-water chicken, the fried venison ginger and spring onion and fried string beans.

vendors taking out for lunch - not just to talk cock, but how much they can get from him is a big question!

to live or not to live - you decide

are we just a machine that's programmed to go after happiness?

what is happiness? is it biochemical? ie it all depends on triggering a certain process in the brain, like hunger like anger.....

or metaphysical? that's something more then biochemical, like what some religions propose, in a state of peacefulness....

if it's the former, then, there's many short-cuts to attaining happiness, like what the drug addicts are doing. but if it's the latter, then it's not happiness we are after, but rather peacefulness.

what's peacefulness then?

could it that, peacefulness is the state where one sees through what's going around him, in the past and future, and takes things easy as they come because he's prepared for them?

the question is, if he can see thru things, knowing past and future, the naked truth of the nature of things, what's the motivation for living then?

so the basic question is - to live or not?

high tea - low mood

the mind is devoid of ideas as central china is facing its most severe droughts in past many years. could be it be the scent of the suspiciously blooming tembusu flowers? that strong flagrance that resembled as stench not that overpowers the sense of smell, blocking the thot channels in teh brain.

anyway, when one is not motivated to think, one feels bored. when one is bored, one's five senses are blunt. maybe, to kick start again the engine of living, some comfort food may do the trick.

and he thot of durian - durian buffet - durian dessert buffet in a hotel.

he took off earlier and headed to a 4-star hotel for high-tea which catered also a variety durian desserts.

before he reached the hotel, he called, to reserve the place. but much to his consternation, the receptionist said, no high-tea, only weekends.

and that definitely added salt into the wound of boredom.
