mr chua, in his 40's, a nanyang poly lecturer wanted to buy a leica digital, $30,000. he said he used to be an avid photographer many years ago. but, he said he could not afford it.
he said to mr chua, "no need to buy a leica, buy a pentax. now the pentax R5 also has a lot of advanced feautres. less than $2000."
mr chua said, "no lah, not as good as the leica."
"since you were from the slr school, new to the dslr, i suggest you to get a cheaper one and play around with it.... then once you are familiar with all the features and techniques, and you have saved enuff, go for whatever."
"no lah.... i think the techniques are the same as slr.... no need long time to learn one.... i want, i get the best, if not, i don't get."
"but the most expansive may not be the best!"
