 | Paailla - seafood rice, that's what they were to have for lunch, said the tour guide. They were expecting at least some decent dish with decent amount of seafood. But it was a total disappointment, with one small shrimp or crayfish or small crab crawl each. The rice was half cooked(NOT al dente; bit NOT cooked). And they were stopping over for lunch in the journey from barca to valencia - where the ORIGINAL paella dish originated... just 70km away from the mecca of paella, the dish had turned into something so uncanny. the restaurant was just beside the shore of mediterranean sea. after an unsavory lunch, they went to the beach just to take 10-minute walk.... and off they went on the bus again...   |  |
