salamanca - the sausage judges




salamanca, sounds like a lizard, or a kind of sausage... they were there at 1pm, after another long ride. the walking began.... around the streets, spain's oldest university, the cafes, the shops, the eating places. then they proceeded to the plaza mayor.

there were a group of young people sitting around a big table, about 16 of them. whenever young gals passed by, they would each hold up a piece of paper with a number 1-10 written on it - presumably, like judges in a gymnastic comptetion, showing the marks attained by the contestants, in this case by the gal passing by. and they had a great time acting judges.

then this gal after been flashed with the card, approached the group.... started talking to them. after about 5 minutes of talking, the gal got a piece of paper and a pen from her bag and drew something on it. then she raised it high to the people walking by. on it, she drew :
