graffiti - freedom?

graffiti to singaporeans mean canes - but in spain and portugal, it's way to express oneself openly to the world, in brilliant colors and wacky type styles and cartoonic figures...

that's why they have picaso, we have goh chock tong, they have the flamenco, we have the lee hsiang loong.... they have the paella, we have the nathan...

we always look up to our gahmen as leaders, in all big and small things.... they express themselves confidently even in times of economic crisis....

or is it due to their harsh lives that they have to rely on graffiti ro release their steam?
