last nite dreamt losing the wallet. this morning woke up and found that the wallet was missing from the pocket. looked around to see whether it dropped somewhere, but could not find.
had a 3-hour conference call at home before going to the office.
thank GOD, the wallet was left on the office table.
what is a dream? has a dream something to do with reality?
dream is 100% subconsciousness, reality is 100% consciousness, and in between, the twilight zone, sometimes subconsciousness, subconsciously pops up in bright daylight.... like somehow suddenly you remember you have forgoten to do something that you have been reminding yourself to do.... that somehow is what we called subconsciousness. in fact when we remind ourselves that we have to do something, in some future time, many a times we just forget about it. yes, the memory looks like lost in the conscious part of the mind, but memory is still lodged in the subconscious part of the mind. and at moments we cannot predict, this subconscious memories would pop up; if in bright daylight, we say it's intuition, if they comes out at our sleep, we call them dreams.....
now, what is life? is it consciousness or are we really living in subconsciousness?
your conscious answer is surely life is consciousness, since only consciousness is continuous, that when your day is up, you go sleep, the next morning you wake up, you can still remember what you have done the day before, and you practically pick up your life from when you left it the day before. but not so, in a subconscious world. subconscious memories cannot be recalled at will, hence you cannot have a dream last nite, and continue your same dream tonite, and the nite after...... and since subconsciousness is the accumulations of consciousness, hence it lags consciousness. so how do you explain, premonitions, dreams that foretell the futures, which are supposed to be triggered by subconsciousness(which is experience = the accumulation of consciousnes)? are there such things?
what if i tell you, all our actions are dictated by subconsciousness, like eating lunch, because we feel hungry. yes, hunger is form of subconsciousness. jealousy, selfishness, the urge to win, the urge to survive.... all are different forms of subconsciousness.... all these forms of subconsciousness are what motivates a person to act as what he's has been acting all his life. and now since all these survival-oriented, animalistic instincts are innate to any one, preceding any conscious experience, they leads our conscious life.... all these instincts are here to help us deal with the things that already happened. for survival sake, wouldn't it be plausible, there maybe something more subtly developed thru the evolution of lives, some instinct that warns us of danger ahead?
now, you tell me, are we living in a conscious world or an unconscious world.
if we are conscious, then why so many wars and violence, and so much unfairness, so much injustice, so much humanly inflicted sufferings, so many people left to die in poverty, so many people just going for power, going for wealth, going for lust at all cost...... ???
subconsciously, we are still an animal, no different from a rat or a worm!
