did not play golf today, as it was raining the whole morning. and he called up, and told the rain would last the whole day. but it stopped at 3pm. instead, he went to go 'pinnacle', the 7 50-story hdb blocks in duxton plain. he started off in outram mrt, cross the eu tong seng rd, onto duxton plain park. the park was as meticulous as ever. further on, one was awed by the wall-like, digitally-facaded, black-and-white structure - the pinnacle @ duxton plain.
he took the lift to 50th floor, and got a glimpse of the sky-bridge, outside the rotating gate. he had to go and pay the $5 entrance fee thru the ez-link. he went to blk G to pay the fee. but found that his was a NET card, could not be accepted by the machine. like the first time he visited the tree-top walk in upper thomson when he climbed up to the wrong side of the one-way bridge, now, he carried the wrong card, not able to pay for the entrance of the sky-bridge, had to be turned away and continued with his jog...... thru yan kit rd, tanjong pagar, anson rd, shenton, and stopped in lau pa sat for his dinner - indian mutton curry rice - cheap and good....
- this time turned away, there's a next time.... everybody deserves a second chance, a third chance... an n-th chance as long as he keeps on trying.
