rooftop - partial lunar eclipse
tonite, at around 8pm, suddenly remembered there's an partial ellipse of the moon, with the earth's between the sun and the moon, its shadow fallen on the moon's surface. rushed up to the roof top, and start snapping, after learning from pentax forum on the setting used for a clean moon surface; iso 200, f13 above, shutter speed at 1/100, and focal length max at 300mm, set focus to infinity with manual lock. for the next 1.5 hours, happily snapping away....
post processing:
1. balance up brightness of the moon
2. convert into black and white
3. reduce to 1/10 of the full-size JPEG
4. prepare a canvass with the building on the left shot in nite, and cropped.
5. cut and paste the moons in phases of the ellipse into the canvas.
6. voila - the twilight saga - eclipse....
