mother - 100th day of her demise

mother - quietly did her part as a wife, a mother and a grand mother.

many ago, in china, a hilly village, under the dim oil-lamp light, she told us one story after another, chong-mo-yim, tiger-bride, dik-ching, mok-kwai-ying......

time flies so fast.... to remember all these moments becoming quite an effort, though somewhere in the back of his mind, all these seemed like yesterday.

father passed away quite early, mother single-handedly, somehow took care of the family. one time, he ran out of money and spent up his school fee, and dare not told his mother, until he drank a bit in a neighbor's wedding dinner, and blurted out his dilemma. mother did not scold him, gave him the money....

she came out and stayed with him for sometime. he brought her to trips in china and new zealand. but he regrets not bringing her back to their home village in china....

and now, the chance lost is lost ..... GOD bless her soul
