the sarabat stall opposite the hotel did not open, maybe it's hari raya haji today. so they had to look for a makan place for their breakfast on their way to the golf club. they stopped over in LEE KOON restaurant, selling yong-tau-fu noodle. each had their bowl of yong-tau-foo and a bowl of noodle, one had rat's tail, one had normal yellow noodle, one had beehon and one had koayteow. the yong-tau-foo was good, he ordered another bowl. following the detailed directions given by greg, the carlton star manager, they arrived at seremban international golf club with no problem at all.

tee-off at at 9.10am.

after the game they drove to batu pahat. they got into town at 6pm, since along the way, there was big rain.

the were discussing whether to check out crystal inn when they noticed katerina hotel was just another stone-throw away. since philip and hs happened to know the manager of this hotel, mr razak in a previous inter-club golf game, and he promised to give discount if they ever come to stay, so they checked out katerina instead. and they did get their discount and the rate came down to rm160, which is reasonable for a 4-star hotel.

after an "expansive" abalone dinner in seaview restaurant, they had some shopping done in summit parade mall which was next to crystal inn.

when they walked into Crystal inn to check out the rate - it's only rm105, much cheaper than katerina even with the discount. and crystal inn was not anything shabby. so sometimes a good acquaintance does not mean a good deal!

but do you befriend for monetary benefits?
