came down and asked the petrol station attendant the direction to batu pahat golf club. after 15 minutes of following what he pointed, they saw a golf course to the right. but it did not looked like it was batu pahat golf course, according to philip who had been here before. anyway they went in to check it out. as expected this was not the golf course they intended to play this morning. instead they were at the bukit banang golf club. since they already there, they went to enquire for the green fee. it was rm75 inclusive of buggy, no caddy. and rm55 for senior golfers. it was very good deal indeed, and looking around, the place seemed very decent, and it was an 18-hole course, vs the 9-hole in batu pahat golf club, though they had reciprocal letters from their clubs for bpgc. they decided to take on bbgc. the course was very nice. surprised that not many people know it.
they had a very good day here. except in hole 2, the index-one, cross-the-pong par 5, philip's ball was in the drain, and entitled for a free drop. he was taking a little bit longer to do it. hs was impatient, "hey, mr tan, can do faster or not, slow like that, we will reach singapore after midnite." philip ignored him, and dropped the ball slightly infront of the place where he picked his ball. "hey, you should drop it behind." philip did as what he said. then hs said, "no lah... drop properly lah, cannnot any how throw. must stand straight and drop." this time philip could not tahan any more, "you very funny guy, for just a dollar you are trying to be like my father." and this time hs kept quiet. anyway, as long as there's betting on the course, there's bound to have arguement no matter how good buddies the players are. not just for that one ringgit, but for face sake lah. there's no such thing as a happy loser, only a loser that's less lousy.
they finished at 2pm, and took their lunch break in the club-house before driving back to JB, where they stopped over in sentosa for herbal chicken. but the bamboo restaurant which is famous for herbal chicken closed. had to make do with the next door - teck sing restaurant.
after dinner they reached singapore at 7.30pm.
