there's two types of politicians - one trying to make decisions away from his circle of experience.
the other taking his experience as the absolute truth and making decisions based on that assumption.
and mr lky is both, but lately he became more of the latter, after the brouhaha of his famous graduate mother, one-man-two-vote, lately he broached his inclination of no-retirement-working-forever life, hdb-for-mortgage guff, change of mother tongue policy, relax view on gambling, old and stale tales of his past glories.....
but the truth is a good politician is someone who acquires and maintains his power base for as long as he lives. and by this standard, lky is a very goog politician. just like a good hired killer is one that can accomplish his task whenever he's tasked to kill someone.
also, the truth is, a man's value and his value system is in his profession.
