after the rain, it was already nearly 5pm. punggol park was filled with people. he jogged and took some pictures. along the big ditch, he turned left and entered somewhat unfamiliar territory. but after 400m, he realised he was jogging along serangoon river. there's been work on this river to upgrade the whole stretch into a river park. nite fell and everything put on a dark veil, no wonder places that could be easily recognised become un-recognizable.
the mind is always comfortable with familiar things, when encountered with the unfamiliar, it's baffled and tends to give up.
