caterpillar swamping season is here - 3 days ago he saw them crawling out onto the pavement along the road when he passed by, in the morning. this morning he stooped, in the middle of the pavement, taking some pictures of the caterpillar amidst the stares of all the people in the bus stop. they must have thot, "what's he doing?" "what's that he's shooting?" "is he a pro photographer?" "is he from the environmental dept?" "is he NUTS?" "is he showing off?"
he ignored them all - but did not get a good picture.
don't blame the tool, don't blame the distraction, blame the shooter's skill - butterflies in the stomach that eats away his guts and steadiness.
