it rains this morning, unlike any normal mornings. nowadays, rain comes any time of the day - yesterday no rain, last saturday rained after 2.30pm, last thursday it rained at night, then early last week it rained in the afternoon..... there's no pattern, only that this going to be a wet year again, like the last.
SAFTI - the first time he stepped into this military training campus. it was huge. they arrived at 7am. others started to arrive, in cars and taxis amid heavy rain. it's the OCS(officer cadet school)registration day.
he started to shoot the trainees in their kaki uniforms, though under such dim light, he would not expect to get any decent pictures.
an officer told him ,"sir you are not allowed to take pictures here."
"ok..." but he continued shooting
"sir, no picture taking."
"ok, ok.....young man, your sir is not taking picture, he's just capturing images into this memory box. this old guy is getting too old to remember everything in details, so he's just making use of technology to help him to remember - if he's as young as you, surely he don't need this piece of bulky box to help him."
"sir, no sir. i don't remember you can use this box to capture memory anyhow here. if i allow you to capture your memory here, i will become bad memory of somebody."
"ok..ok... lah, one more.... just remind myself our soldier is a no-nonsense gentleman.... thank you for your insistence and patience."
