7 of them met the lawyer at zaffron, a new indian restaurant in east coast road. they order a good amount of food, and two bottle of red wine,one they bot next door, and one they brot with them. after having a satisfying dinner and a couple of glass of wine, they started to get advices from the lawyer on the enbloc issues they foresee to happen..... how to word into the contract for event like the increase of plot ratio within 3 years, can they not let the owners witnessing the opening of the tenders, how to negotiate with the buyers....
the lawyers has met with many types of owners in his previous enbloc cases - people who get angry very fast over nothing, people who has the patience to just keep on arguing not to sign, people who insist they can instruct the sale committee's lawyer what to do....
enbloc is a double-edge sword, one side cuts deeps into the camaraderie of the unit owners, the other side cuts into the concept of a home.
