coron - maquinit hot spring

Arrived coron on a delayed flight due to busuanga weather inclement. Hopped in a van, thot that it was from the hotel that they had booked. In fact, it was not, just any other van that earned a fare(150 peso per person, no discount for a minor).

Sunrise inn was a nice inn from the internet, but in fact it was still under construction.

Checked in and went coron downtown. Found a boater offering a 600peso per pax coron island hopping tour.
The grand-daughter(sony) introduced them to Ralph's Pension downtown, a couple of minutes' walk to the wharf. They decided to move out of sunrise inn the next morning.

Ralph's owner, june suggested to climb mt tapyas then go hot spring.
He enjoyed the 720-step climb tremendously. The view was 180 degree of coron harbor, with the Giant lying peacefully right on the horizon.

Then they went hot spring on a tricycle(300 peso). The rocky and part-dirt journey took 20 minutes. The entrance was 100 peso per pax. There was a big pool with luke-warm water and two small pools with the same water - all very salty.

They stayed there until 830pm. No shower facility in the hotsping site, wind-dried during the tricycle trip.... dinner with semi-set clothings on.
