A simple dinner with tanduay rhum, with the family together is a good dinner to have, by any family.
Bought 2 roasted chicken, and some raw mixed vegi(pinagbet) to be cooked in nanay's house, some cooked pancit bihon, chicken adobo, and bought ice-scream and lechon liempo. Most of all, 2 small bottles of tanduay rhum and a big bottle of coke.
Just have to heat up the lechon liempo and cook the raw vegi, and prepare the table, all was ready for dinner.
But before digging in, picture taking first.
Then with the glasses filled, a toast was proposed. Then dinner was officially started. And the kids were thrilled with ice-scream.
Left at 7.30pm.
tanduay rhum - distilled locally, since 1854, a cheapo, costing less than 100peso/bottle for even the premiere vintage(as long as 15 years). you may not find it in the supermarts - only in sari-sari stalls(home-run grocery stalls). but it's a good rhum anyway.
