attended 5th aunt's funeral in bukit batok, st52. it rained big when the cortege started at 3pm. the journey took about 20 minutes to the mandai crematorium. the buildings were huge, inside very grand. the relatives and guests were herded into a lecture-like theatre, to watch thru the glass partition the rolling in of the casket into the furnace. once it was inside, the ceremony ended.
it was raining very big outside!
but the sobbing from the relatives and the guests touched his heart more than the fierce rain that pounded the surrounding ruthlessly.
