auschwitz - what's the lesson?

Auschwitz - the faces of the 'prisoners' sent to the camp and later perished in the camp with their dates of birth, date of arrival and demise, with the prisoner's uniform made a deep impression in him.

Many of them look the same, somehow. their faces showed no expression of any particular kind. Just stared into the camera...minds blank.

The killings were so systematic, it shudders to think what human is capable of when it comes to acquiring the power of destruction. Then it was auschwitz and nanjing massacre. And now, people still believe killing is the only way to solve problems that involve conflict of interest, conflict of beliefs or simply hatred arise from historical baggage.

The descendants of the victims and the aggressors never learnt anything from the holocaust; now they just continue the same route of using power to kill of the problems.

and the japs, never sincerely apologized for their inhumane aggression. the younger japs thot it never happened, even the older ones denied it ever happened. beware! they are now is at the threshold of going back to the old way of flexing their muscles, with the u.s. at their back.

the evil spirit of auschwitz is always lurking behind the people who appreciate all the finer things in life including the art of killing people in the name of bushido, even the atomic bombs could not put this evil spirit to rest.....
