budapest - warm hearts

The danube runs thru budapest dividing the city into buda and pest. Gaby the 60+ tour guide gives them an extra tour item not covered in the itinerary; viewing of the inside of at stephen's cathedral. that delays the time to the st mathias church which is on the hilltop in buda, which only gives a few minutes to savor the golden hour before darkness shrouds the whole city.

Buy some souvenirs in he pedestrian mall.

then head to dinner in the citadella restaurant. it's like going into a dungeon, the musicians and dancers do a good job to entertain the diners.

when the 'blue danube' is played, the diner resonate by humming the tune, some stand up and coax themselves into the waltz....

the budapest nite scene is a picture of peace and tranquility.

and the air inside the dungeon is warm with the mood of festivity, revelry.

- winter can only be overcome by warm hearts!
