bratislava - face value

Had a good sleep, awaken to a white winter wonder world of snowing outside. Had a good time taking pictures with snow falling all over, how such thing happened he would not want to go into the science of it, its not time to analyse, but rather to homogenise into this miniatured crystalline world.

After breakfast, the bus left the hotel at 9.10am, snowing all the way to the new bridge, downtown bratislava.

Tour the area for a couple of hour on foot. lunch on own expense, from the food stalls in the christmas market in main square. Sausage, beef, hot soup delighted the palate and filled the stomach.

The melting snow on the ground was slippery. he nearly slipped over a number of times. but luckily he held ground, last minute. one of the times, he fell, but last minute, he caught hold of a lady walking by. grabbed on her skirts, torn it out..... the lady shrieked. he steadied himself and said, "sorr...." before he could finished the word, she raised her hand and slapped him in his face hard and fast.

his hands touching the snow on the ground, felt cold, but his right face, heavily impacted by the lady's hand felt stingily hot.

Then off they went for a 3-hour drive to budapest, with a stop for bio-brake.

- what a way to warm up the trip! when the feet lose ground, the face loses value.
